The story is set in the future, as aliens have invaded in an attempt to
harvest all of the Earth's carbon resources (C-12 is a reference to C,
the most abundant isotope of carbon). You play as Lieutenant Riley
Vaughan, a cybernetically altered human soldier, and member of the
underground resistance. You undertake missions played out in a 3rd
person view, killing aliens and cyborgs, collecting weapons and keys,
and the like. An interesting feature is that of a sniper sight ability,
where you can try to get headshots (which will kill most enemies
instantly).
